Lyam grew up in Lancaster England, the eldest son of two, his father is a successful English Lawyer and his mother is a full blooded Ukranian immigrant, having fled the USSR in the tail end of the cold war.
Lyam went to and graduated from Cambridge University, being a relatively bright individual, but mostly through his dedication to literature. A few years after he graduated he became a moderately successful horror novelist.
He recently moved from London to where he currently resides in Yuma, Colorado a small city of 3,000 people off of highway 34. It's a quiet out of the way place where nothing happens. The perfect place for Lyam to try and write. Most of the people there are simple red blooded white Americans, he can't help but feel his accent stands out a bit.
2 years ago Lyam lost both his wife and daughter in a car accident while traveling on holiday from their home in London to see his parents in Lancaster. A drunk driver struck their passenger side at 110kph, having run a red light.
Lyam, having grown up a bright and curious man, always intrigued by the secret mysticisms of life, has become a changed man. He's become a recluse and an alcoholic, his attention for creativity and writing has dissapeared and all that is left is his anger.
