Trixie Amanda Carlson
Age: 22
Trixie Carlson (named for her maternal grandmother) grew up in the small town of Mulvane, Kansas, the youngest of four Carlson children. As soon as she was old enough to play, her older brothers made sure that Trixie's Barbie dolls lay neglected in favor of playing Super Mario Bros. and pretending to be superheroes. As she got older, however, Trixie realized there was something she loved even more than Batman – acting. She threw herself wholeheartedly into every theater production she could, and even her parents (who were of the opinion that their daughter ought to focus on something more practical) had to admit that she was talented.
After graduating high school, Trixie attended the nearby community college, but soon became convinced of how few opportunities there were in Mulvane. In the summer after her freshman year at Cowley College, she took all the money she had saved from her part-time job and moved to California, trying to fulfill her dream of becoming an actress. Although she landed a few minor roles in independent films and short-lived television shows, Los Angeles seemed like another dead-end for her. When a friend asked Trixie to accompany her to New York for an audition, she followed, deciding to perhaps try her luck on stage. Through a series of events, she found herself in Colorado, with the opportunity of a lifetime.
